I just stumbled on this simple food and wine pairing chart from Visual.ly. This one doesn’t take into account heat levels but is definitely worth a look for general guideliness. Most of it makes good sense though I’m not sure if red zinfandel is really a “medium red.” Also I’ve found chocolate pairs well with merlot. What are your thoughts on the chart matches? I love that it’s done as a spectrum chart.
